We were exploring Mdina today – the old capital of Malta or the Silent City. It is a medieval town in the centre of the island. The city is located on a hill and has narrow streets, few inhabitants and beautiful views over the island.
Here you see the entrance and one of the cosy streets.
No cars are allowed to enter the city apart from the ones owned by its residents. The current population is only 250 people. People who visit are offered to take a ride in a horse cabin though.
Samuel wanted to take a walk on his own and he proposed to meet at the sand coloured door at 3 pm. And there he was, 3 o’clock sharp. Impressive! 😀
